First identify how far setup progressed. Avoid deleting the profile while investigating: the plan may require support or reissue to install again. Record what you see and change one setting at a time.
1. Identify the stage that failed
Distinguish a QR code that will not install, an installed line with no service, and a line with signal but no internet. Note the exact error and what changed immediately before it appeared.
For installation problems, review the internet connection, phone support, carrier lock and supplied setup details. Also check whether the plan is expected to connect only after you reach a covered destination.
2. Review the line and plan conditions
Confirm that the travel line is enabled and selected for mobile data. Review roaming or APN settings only as instructed by the seller. Do not guess an APN from instructions for a different product.
Check the destination, start time, expiry and remaining allowance separately. Signal bars do not prove that every condition for mobile data is satisfied.
3. Try reversible steps individually
Follow manufacturer or seller guidance for steps such as toggling Airplane Mode or restarting the phone. Record the original settings and check the connection after each change.
Do not start by deleting the eSIM or resetting network settings. Reinstallation may need assistance, and a reset can affect saved Wi-Fi or VPN settings. Seek official guidance first.
4. Prepare a useful support request
Collect the order reference, model, OS, destination, time, error and steps already tried. Send sensitive screenshots only through the seller’s official channel; do not publish activation codes or identifiers.
If you need to keep moving, save booking information and maps first and use an available connection to contact the seller. Decide on replacements or refunds once you understand the issue and the contract.
